Our Youth sailing courses are designed to develop young people’s skills in a fun and enjoyable way, whilst following the RYA Youth Sailors Scheme. Under the guidance of a qualified instructor candidates will be introduced to new skills and techniques which will increase their confidence whilst developing a greater understanding of the sport.

Exe-Stream sessions are tailored to each candidates ability (beginner to advanced) to ensure progression through the RYA syllabus

RYA certificates are a significant achievement; Instructors sign off each skill as it is completed and once the stage has been achieved the certificate can be used in other areas of study, or activities such as PE at school and the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

The Youth Scheme is usually completed in small dinghies suitable for the youth sailor’s (7-17) and consists of Stages 1-4.
